As a Catholic, the Camino de Invierno holds a special spiritual significance for me, deeply rooted in Christian tradition. The Camino, or ‘The Way’, is a network of pilgrimage routes leading to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, where the remains of St. James the Apostle, one of Jesus Christ’s twelve disciples, are believed to be buried.
