Who should I see in Nazareth? In the Basilica atrium, the guide told us to go and look for the Madonna from China as her crown was pure gold. I went along, and who should I find waiting for me but our very own Lady of Vellankani. This statue was a bit more resplendent than the original one in the church in Vellankani, but it was lovely. I missed the depiction from Australia. I went down to the grotto, where we couldnt go into the church, as a group were having a prayer session.
I didn’t take a photo of the grotto – somehow it seemed the right thing to do..
