Jerusalem would also be a boy’s delight. I missed my boys, big and small, as I thought of how much they would love the feel of a real castle, complete with towers, ramparts and the occasional knight.

I had to abandon my rampart walk, as it began raining, and the stones were really slippery – also one entrance had been locked, and i was keen to race around to the next one before it got locked and I was trapped on the ramparts forever. I wasn’t too keen on meeting either of these blokes on the ramparts.
