Another Behind the Scenes Moment

Taking you behind the scenes of my author journey. After the camino, or hike, after the writing, the editing, the rewriting, the formatting, comes the publishing. And after that comes the checking of the physical book – and today, the first books arrived.

Hey there, everyone! Today, I want to share a really special moment with you all. I recently received the first printed copies of my new book, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely thrilling experience!

So, picture this: I had been eagerly waiting for this parcel to arrive. You see, I had just published a book and had to order some copies from Amazon. But before I could do that, I needed to make sure everything looked perfect. I reached out to my friends, and one of them kindly reviewed the book for me, cutting down the review time from three weeks to just three days. And finally, the moment arrived when the printed copies were in my hands!

That first moment of seeing your work in the form of a physical book

As I opened the parcel, the excitement was palpable. I mean, imagine seeing your hard work and creativity materialize into actual physical books for the first time. It was a mix of nervousness and pure joy. The books looked absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn’t help but admire them, flicking through the pages and feeling the heft of the book in my hands.

This book is not just a guidebook; it’s a piece of my journey, filled with my experiences and descriptions along the way. Sure, there might be a couple of errors here and there, but holding the book in my hands made all the struggles of editing and formatting worth it.

What’s next?

I know that most of you reading this will come across my book after this moment, but that’s totally fine. I just wanted to share this incredible experience with you all. Now, I can’t wait to start working on my next book and take you all on another adventure with me.

Thanks for being a part of this journey with me!
